Calculation method for workwear fabric

During the process of customizing work clothes, it is common to encounter the need to calculate the fabric of work clothes. Next, let's take a look at how the fabric of work clothes is calculated?

1. The amount of warp thread=(P (warp density) X D denier X door width ÷ (1- reduction rate) X9000) X (1+reduction rate) X (1+twist reduction rate) X (1 ± reduction rate)=() g/M

If both warp and weft are made of real silk, the general reduction rate is 25%, similar to polyester. The rest of the reduction rates such as folding, twisting, and refining depend on experience. Note: If the meridian is a double stranded line, it should be DX2.

2. Weft usage=(P (weft density) X D denier X reed width ÷ (1- reduction rate) X9000) X (1+reduction rate) X (1 ± reduction rate)=() g/M

Reed width: inner width X (1+fold ratio). Similarly, if the weft is double stranded, then DX2; Three strands DX3

3. Raw material usage: warp usage+weft usage

4. Using the equal weight method to design fabrics

Formula A: P1 ÷ P2=D2 ÷ D1, where P1 is the density of the original longitude/latitude lines; P2 represents the density of new meridians/latitudes

D1 is the original longitude fiber (thickness); D2 is the new longitude fiber size

Example: If there is a piece of fabric on hand with 20 weft threads per centimeter and a fiber size of 100D polyester, it needs to be replaced with a fiber size of 150D

How many weft threads are there in the newly designed fabric for polyester?

P1 ÷ P2=D2 ÷ D1 → P2=P1XD1 ÷ D2 → P2=20X100 ÷ 150=13.33 pieces

Calculate weight without considering the shrinkage rate, refining shrinkage rate, twisting shrinkage rate, etc. of new and old products (with a reed width of 100).

Old: G=20X100X100 ÷ 9000=22.22 grams

New: G=13.33X150X100 ÷ 9000=22.22 grams. The weight of the new and old fabrics is equal.

5. D denier number=weight/9000 (centimeters)

S Imperial Branch (inches) Danielle Number to English Branch Conversion D=5315/S

N metric count (hemp, wool) Danielle number to common count conversion D=9000/N

From the above two formulas, it can be inferred that S=0.591N N=1.692 S

Dtex score Tex D=9 dtex

Example: The specifications of cotton products are 30sX30s/133X72, replaced with denier number and density per centimeter?
