Why not all custom T-shirts are made of pure cotton

Many companies like to buy customized T-shirts made of pure cotton when purchasing clothes, because they are comfortable and breathable to wear. 1. Lycra cotton

Literally: Lycra (high-quality spandex)+cotton. Adding some Lycra material to a customized T-shirt will make it more fitting, comfortable to touch, elastic, and less prone to wrinkles. However, it should be noted that T-shirts made of this fabric need to be well waterproof.

2. Polyester cotton

Polyester cotton, commonly known as "Dacron", is a textile made of polyester+cotton blended yarn. After two dyeing processes on polyester cotton, the fabric feels hard, thick, and prone to fuzzing. Whether it is machine washed or hand washed, it can resist wrinkles and is not easily deformed. But the comfortable experience of wearing clothes will be unsatisfactory.

3. Mercerized cotton/double mercerized cotton

After fine weaving into high woven yarn, the fabric undergoes special processing processes such as "singeing" and "mercerizing" (double mercerizing adds an additional process) to produce a smooth, bright, soft, and wrinkle resistant high-quality mercerized yarn. Using this as a raw material to customize a T-shirt not only gives it a silky luster, but also a soft and breathable feel, making it comfortable to wear, fully reflecting the temperament and taste of the wearer.

4. Pure cotton

This is a commonly used custom T-shirt fabric with high cost-effectiveness. Although it is not treated with special techniques like other high-end T-shirt fabrics, it is 100% pure cotton and still maintains the superior natural characteristics of pure cotton, with good skin affinity, breathability, and moisture absorption.
